I am thinking I am going to start posting only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, at least through December. I am just not managing my time very well, and I stress myself out over writing daily and it's just not worth it. I know, I know. Two of you will be extremely disappointed that I'm not blogging daily. I'm sorry, Dad and Grandma. Actually, I'm pretty sure that neither my dad or my grandma even read this every day. haha. ::sigh::
Quick recap of our weekend:
- Friday I went to bed at 10pm and it was a beautiful Christmas miracle. Best night of my life.
- Saturday we put up the rest of our Christmas lights (and when I say "we" I mean the Mister).
- Saturday evening we bundled up and drove around looking at Christmas lights and listening to Christmas music. My 3 year old is at the most fun age, and she was oh so excited to see all the lights and kept asking where Santa was.
her: let's go see him!
me: it's too far away!
her: dat's ok, mom. we will drive there.
So if you don't hear from me for a while I am probably driving to the north pole. I'm a sucker like that. Anyone know Mr. Claus's exact address?
- Saturday night we went to see my lovely sister Calee perform at a local music venue. She is so good it makes me want to die. I listen to her and am filled with complete awe. So much talent in that chick.
- Sunday went to church, felt the spirit, read Christmas books to my kids and hung out at home. Then watched the First Presidency Christmas Devotional while we chomped on peppermint ice cream. Saw my dad in the MoTab a few times. Another ridiculously talented person I happen to be related to. It's nice to know that they all sucked the talent barrel dry and left me with the talent of eating Oreos and ignoring dirty dishes. You're welcome, guys. I took one for the team on that one.
And that's that. I made a goal back in September to blog every M-F, starting October 1st. And since then I have not missed a single day. I'm pretty proud of myself! It takes planning and some sacrifice to blog daily. And now I'm over sacrificing so 3 times a week it will be. haha. We'll see how I feel in January, maybe I'll start up the daily again.
